Migdalor. In Hebrew, it means lighthouse – that light which guides sailors through darkness, transforming uncertainty into safe passage. And it’s no coincidence that this name lives within me. Illuminating is at my core, pulsing through every class, every encounter with my students.
I believe in learning that awakens all the senses – where knowledge doesn’t just enter through the ears, but dances in the eyes, resonates in the heart and, especially, sparks smiles. Because humor, oh, humor! It’s the most beautiful bridge between the difficult and the possible, between fear and courage.
Hebrew is that special language which charms people all over the world. But only the curious and the brave decide to truly learn it. I have the privilege of meeting them, these courageous souls who, in a short time, are already speaking Hebrew with me – and discover that the language is pure magic.
I’m grateful to witness this magic happen in every class. To see eyes light up as they unveil a new sound, a new word, a new world. To be, myself, a lighthouse – not one that shines alone at the top, but one that ignites other lights along the way.
